Still Waiting on the Court Hearing

Well bow season is a little over a week away and we still have not got our land issue resolved. Just as I figured our court date was cancelled on the 11th and was rescheduled for Oct 2 which is the day before opening day of bow season! Did not get to plant my food plots like I wanted and it has rained at least twice a week for the last month!  Last year after I planted my food plots it came a drought! That’s the way my luck usually runs anyhow lol! 

I went ahead and filled my corn feeder a couple of weeks ago and put my game camera out but have not got any pics as of yet. The hogs have not even started coming  in on it yet, guess there is still plenty for them to eat right now with all the rain we have had this year. Our trees are loaded with acorns this year too, so food plots probably would not have done a whole lot of good anyway. 

Good news is I did get a spot on my buddy’s deer lease so I will at least have a place to hunt this year if we wind up losing in court. We have been trying to get down to his place and do some shredding and mowing so we could see a little better, but as much as it has been raining we have not been able to even get that done yet. Maybe it will stop raining long enough for us to get it done pretty soon, at least by rifle season I hope! Lol

The one good thing I know, is that next saturday morning I will be in a tree with my bow, and thats all that really counts I guess! Where I will be I am not sure, but at least it will be somewhere!
